Princess Tia's Tiara
No one wants a plain little brown puppy named Tia. But when she puts a red bow in her hair, everything changes. Dr. King takes one look at Tia and realizes he must adopt this puppy, he knows that a puppy in a red bow must be special. Tia finally has a home, and Dr. King has a special gift for Tia, a beautiful sparkly tiara. She looks like a princess with her tiara on, and that is exactly what everyone calls her - ‘Princess Tia’.
Wearing her tiara, Princess Tia can do everything better, until one disastrous morning when she wakes up to find her tiara gone. What will she do? Princess Tia searches everywhere for the missing tiara, and the day just gets worse. Will anyone help her find her tiara or will she be just plain little Tia again? What is a plain little puppy to do? Princess Tia is in for a big surprise!

Shana Ganong was born in St. Stephen New Brunswick. She began writing in high school and attended the University of New Brunswick where she majored in English and Fine Art. She continued her artistic endeavors at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and went on to work as a graphic artist before following a different career path. In 2006 she decided to write for publication and began writing her first novel, returning to her artistic and literary roots. In 2008 Shana was inspired to write her first children’s book, Princess Tia’s Tiara . Loosely based on her Yorkie-Shih Tzu Tia. This is her first children’s book in the Princess Tia series.
